JOB TITLE: Event Specialist - In-Store Demonstrator              APPLICATION DEADLINE: 09/27/2010

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Will create brand awareness, generate excitement, and increase product sales through sampling and event promotions. Responsible for reading all program materials, set up and breakdown of their working area, preparing and sampling products on scheduled event days.  

EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
No experience necessary; however, we need friendly candidates who have great customer service skills, retail or food demonstration experience is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRING (min age, education, drug test, skills testing):
18 years old. High school/GED or equivalent work experience. Previous event marketing, demonstrations or retail/grocery experience is highly desireable. Great communication skills. Knowledge of retail sales techniques is preferred. Friendly, outgoing; have confidence and enthusiasm to engage retail shoppers. Ability to prepare and serve food samples utilizing cooking apparatus required for raw meats, produce, and other items. Must have access to a computer and telephone. Reliable transportation to/from your specified location is required. Must have basic knowledge on how to use a computer and download documents from a website or an email. Must have reliable Internet access to receive schedule, updates, and submit event reports. Must have neat appearance. Criminal background and drug screen is required.
