JobLink Career Centers offer many specialized services for employers. By combining the strengths and experiences of the county's top workforce agencies, JobLink can provide quick and thorough services that address local needs. Employers can call to discuss their employment and training needs.

JobLink offers a comprehensive package of services you can use on your own or with the assistance of a JobLink Business Solutions team member. It's the single place to address your employment and training needs.

Specialized Services for Employers

  • Assistance with ADA Accommodations - Provides assistance to employers with workplace modifications to accommodate employees with physical and mental disabilities.
  • Pre-Employment Screening - A system of assessment, job profiling, and instruction that identifies abilities of potential employees or existing employees. Activities may include Job Skills Certification, WorkKeys, and Prove-It! testing.
  • Consultation and Assessment for Employees with Disabilities - Designed to help individuals transition from rehabilitation to employment through education, training, job search assistance and assistive technology that is available to increase independence.
  • Dislocated Worker Services - Confidential pre-planning and advisement is available to assist employers with such dislocation issues as transitioning employees while maintaining needed levels of productivity.   • English as a Second Language - Provides instruction in conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, basic reading and writing, and English grammar to non-native speakers of English.
  • Custom Designed Training - Training is available to meet a company's specific workforce needs and can be customized based on on-site job analysis, to help employers integrate change into business practice and improve production, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Workplace Literacy - Allows an employer to design a customized training program that addresses job-specific basic skills competencies.
  • Online Job Listings - Davidson County JobLink's website offers free job listings for area employers. Employers can post a position through the website and it will appear on the website for a month - at which point it can be renewed - or for a fixed period of time shorter than a month.
